DESCRIPTION:Are Creative or have Technical flare?  Are you interested in Architecture\, Landscape Design and Architecture\, or Interior Design?  We have a fantastic tour lined up delivered by teaching staff within Unitec’s School of Architecture. \n \nCheck out the following workshops that will be delivered to all students that attend on the day: \nIntroduction To Architecture\nWelcome to the School of Architecture. We will proivde you with an introduction to the discipline of Architecture\, which includes the design of buildings\, landscapes and urban environments\, garden design and interior design. \nArchitecture Portfolio & Interviews\nWe will show you what a good portfolio will look like and how a general Architecture interview is undertaken. \nTechnology & Jenga\nAn activity to explain the principles of having fun in designing a technological Architecture outcome using Jenga. \nIndustry Speakers\nWe will have two industry speakers attached to this Tuhura Explore Architecture Tour. By including industry speakers\, your students will have an opportunity to hear from experienced Architects that are in\, or have recently been in the industry. This will provide a key connection for students to hear what it’s like on the working-room floor. Our two industry speakers will provide an overview of the educational journey and employment history\, providing information on some of the projects they’ve worked on and what it’s actually like to be an Architect. \nRegister Quick \nThe Tūhura tours are free of charge and are open right now.  Secure your students a spot at this event as early as possible. \nRegister
