UNITEC Art & Design Experience Day
Imagine. Design. Make. Bring your ideas to life through Art & Design!
This hands-on, full-day taster will introduce you to the world of Art and Design through four creative experiences, spanning both digital and analogue making. From User Interface and Motion Design to Printmaking and 3D Object Creation, students will rotate through each touchpoint and gain insights into design thinking and creative experimentation. The workshop offers a glimpse into the possibilities of studying creative practice at Unitec.
Date: Wednesday 2 July OR Thursday 3 July (choose one day)

UNITEC Contemporary Dance – School Holiday Workshop
Step into a world of movement, creativity and performance
Join us at Unitec, in our new Creative Industries studios for two inspiring days of dance. Open to High School students (Year 11-13) who want to explore, create and meet other amazing young dancers. Participate in technique and choreography workshops taught by Unitec Dance faculty Katie Burton, Tamsin Russell and Xin Ji. The second day will include a fun live performance, created and performed by the workshop participants for family and friends in a studio theatre.
Dates: Thursday 10 July AND Friday 11 July (two-day commitment)
Time: Day One: 9:30am to 4:30pm AND Day Two: 9:30am to 6:30pm
Performance: 5:30pm on Day Two for friends and whānau

UNITEC Screen Bites – School Holiday Workshop
Lights, camera, action! Experience film production at Unitec!
Screen Bites is an immersive workshop that guides you through the filmmaking process. From shot selection, filming, acting and editing, the experience culminates in a special screening of your work in our Art House screening theatre.
